SharePoint Expertise

We have delivered many solutions in this area of knowledge.  Our team has extensive experiences in SharePoint usability, technical configuration and tool governance.  Our team members are professionals with proven product experience and we will engage resources to fill the project needs of solutions architects, developers, implementation experts, controls, governance and testers.

Most importantly, we have strong depth in business analysis and process analysis – we believe that SharePoint implementations don’t fully realize their potential based on inherent product capabilities whether the original purpose was collaboration, document management or knowledge sharing.

Over simplifications and underestimates of SharePoint solution rollout is often the cause and reason for solution limitation and or abandonment.

Our most recent experience was at a client site that had a SharePoint 2010 installation, and had not exceeded more than 10 consistent users out of a community of 350. We reviewed existing business requirements, and educated 4-5 pilot user teams on capabilities to refine scope and objectives. Our technical team re-architected the physical installation, confirming licensing structure, established the prod/test/dev environments, defined the install processes and procedures and ensured controls were in place to protect the environment, data and software.

A full assessment of the organization’s needs was also examined against the features of the 2010 version to determine the gaps that could possibly be met with the upgrade to the 2013 version.

The assessment considered the features along with the environmental impacts to support such an upgrade and taking into account the training that would need to accompany that expanded scope for organizational adoption.

Our governance process documented the basics, and focused on how to ensure that this powerful, flexible tool allowed enough user access to creating and defining their sites, while minimizing the risk to the full platform by curbing abilities to install 3rd party software or development tools that could have impacted performance, the platform or other user communities.
